Step2 Presentation and drill

Learn the new words:kill and foolish

1)Show a picture,a little with a bat in her hand

T: What does she want to do?

Help the pupils to answer like this:She wants to kill the fly.

Write down the word and lead reading

T:Can she kill the fly?

Ss:No,she can’t ,she is foolish

Write the word and lead reading the new words,explain the words for the students.

Lead reading the words and check the results.

2. Use the same way to learn the other words: bull, horn

Step3 Fast reading and listening

T: What do you think of the horns

Ss: They are small.

T: Yes, they are small, they are too small for the bull, Why are the bull’s horns so small?

2.Read the dialogue quickly , then answer the following question

Step4 Intensive reading
